Early diagnosis and prompt treatment of SBP are vital to shorten hospital stays reduce mortality. According society guidelines, cirrhosis ascites who admitted the should have diagnostic paracentesis. Therefore, recent research has focused on identifying non-invasive parameters useful prediction which require urgent antibiotic therapy if rapid secure possible there insufficient experience this method. In review, we discuss methods available predict SBP.
